Spanish Immersion Program

In recent years, scientists have begun to show that the advantages of bilingualism are even more fundamental than being able to converse with a wider range of people.
“Being bilingual, as it turns out, makes you smarter. It can have a profound effect on your brain, improving cognitive skills not related to language and even shielding against dementia in old age.” The above quote is an excerpt from Why Bilinguals Are Smarter, written by Yudhijit Bhattacharjee, science writer for The New York Times 2012.
We will introduce your child to the language through methodology of “easy and active immersion.” Your child will start with the basics and as with mastering any new skill, regular (and fun) practice makes a big difference in how quickly a child becomes comfortable speaking another language. We accept a mix of children at different levels of language proficiency including absolute beginners. Our program introduces children to reading, writing, scientific exploration and numbers.

And we encourage the children to reach their full potential with our enriched curriculum. Also as part of our enrichment full-time children will receive up to 2 hours of Spanish lessons to foster bilingualism. Our program introduces children to reading, writing, scientific exploration and numbers. Our goals are threefold:
